The 3 main rules...

1. Simply pick a team for the first phase of games in the English Premier League.

2. If they win their game, you go through to the next phase of games and can select another team. If they draw or lose, you are out!!!

3. Once you have selected a team, you can't choose them again until you have picked all of the other 19 teams in the league.

£5 entry fee - winner takes all

Pub regulars, or their family/friends, can enter for £5 each time (£10 for any new entrant for a rollover)

Minor rules that you can ignore for the moment….

Your selection can be done by updating the sheet in the pub before 6pm the night before the start of each phase, or by somehow getting your choice to George that night.
All chosen selections will be on the wall before the start of each phase. This will include your previous choices, so you also know who you can/can't choose for the next phase - if you go through!
If you have not selected a valid team by the day before each phase at 8pm, or if the game for your chosen team is postponed before kick off - or even abandoned during it - you then get the team who were the highest remaining team in the league that you could have chosen before the phase started.

If all selected teams draw or lose in the last phase, everybody is out and we have a roll-over in the competition. Anyone can enter again by paying the £5 entry fee. £10 for any new entrants in a rollover
